The rise in average temperatures and the occurrence of heatwaves demand effective solutions to ensure thermal comfort in outdoor spaces. At Lionesa Business Hub, we have chosen an innovative response: the installation of a high-pressure misting system in the Central Corridor, inspired by micro-mesh diffusion technology.
How does it work?
The system uses high-pressure pumps (around 70 bar) to force pre-filtered water through high-precision atomising nozzles. The result is the production of microdroplets with a diameter of less than 10 microns, light enough to evaporate almost instantly, absorbing heat from the surrounding air. This phenomenon, known as evaporative cooling, allows the ambient temperature to be reduced by several degrees naturally, without the use of refrigerant gases.
