During the month of July, Lionesa Business Hub will host the exhibition of paintings by final-year students in Fine Arts - Painting, from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
Entitled "EM ALTA VOZ - IN HIGH VOICE", the exhibition results from the work of about xxx students and is available for free visits in the commercial gallery of Lionesa Business Hub, during the day.
The theme derives from the fact that the expression 'In Loud Voice' is recurrently used to warn that the sound of a phone call is being shared in the context where we are. The phrase, when in a warning tone, warns against sharing what may be private and seeks to inform of the possibility of the communication being affected or heard by those outside the circle of conversation. However, 'In a loud voice' is also an affirmation of personality and authorship, which values the dimensions of the one who projects himself through eloquence. In this sense, the expression serves the analogy of a Painting exhibition, of authors graduated in FBAUP, in the heart of a Business Hub, Lionesa, where artists, works, entities and users of the space will cross. In 'warning mode', the exhibition informs that private matters will be discussed. In 'affirmation mode', authorial and identity dimensions are valued, in a dialogue between contexts, surprise, poetics and sensitivity.
This exhibition is in line with the work developed in terms of commitment to art and culture, but also of approaching universities and talent.
